Nice to meet you,
I'm Jessica.

“No one knows you better than yourself”. I focus on challenging clients to evaluate their relationships and experiences from a new perspective. While no one knows you better than yourself, sometimes we struggle to heal and make changes on our own. I aspire to build a trusting and compassionate connection where we will work together to get to the core of recurring problems and heal from life events.
I 've worked in a variety of areas in the mental health field, including college counseling, in-home counseling, and outpatient counseling providing individual, family, and couples counseling. My passions include working with teenagers and adults with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
Clients who appreciate positivity and humor mixed with realism and accountability have found my counseling beneficial. It would be an honor to meet you and help you build a happier present and future.

More About Me
What's the most exciting thing about being a therapist?
"Witnessing how the burdens that clients carry into their first session become lighter throughout time. While some of our most challenging experiences never fully disappear from our hearts and minds, I can see clients unloading the weight of self-blame, trauma, anxiety, depression, and conflict. Seeing clients stand taller, smile more, and dream bigger is so encouraging."
What’s something you’re proud of?
"Seeking help for my own mental health challenges. Like many people, the pandemic was an extremely challenging time in my life that led me to seek out therapy and medication management. Even though I was an aspiring counselor, it was a very big step that required lots of vulnerability."
What’s your favorite thing to do on when you have free time?
"I love to travel, hike, read, cook, and cuddle with my cat."
Perhaps the most important question: what's your cat's name?
"Her name is Neko :)"
Which one do you prefer: Verners or Faygo?
"Verner's all the way!"
