What to Expect
1. Initial SAP evaluation
We complete an assessment that is DOT compliant to determine what education, treatment, or other services are appropriate based on your individual circumstances.
4. Return-to-duty process
Once requirements are met, we then complete the appropriate documentation and reports so your employer can proceed with the next return-to-duty requirements.
2. Treatment Plan
You will receive a written plan outlining the services you must complete before the next step in the process. Referrals and next steps will be laid out so you know exactly what to do.
5. Follow-up Testing
We create a follow-up testing plan is established in accordance with applicable DOT regulations. This will be administered by the employer.
3. Follow-up SAP Evaluation
After successful completion of the recommendations, we review your progress and determine whether you have demonstrated compliance with the treatment plan and DOT requirements.
6. Clearinghouse Updated
At this point, you are marked as ready for the next step in the return-to-duty section of the Clearninghouse. Your current employer then is responsible for future steps.
