You Don't Have to Optimize Your Weekend

Your weekend doesn't need to be:
Productive
Social
Healthy
Adventurous
Instagram-worthy
It can just be yours.
You don't need to wake up early, complete a 10-step morning routine, visit three farmers markets, reorganize your pantry, hike 8 miles, meal prep for the week, and somehow find time to “romanticize your life.”
Sometimes the most restorative thing you can do is stop trying to make your free time productive. When we force ourselves to keep going, we can actually make it harder to get things done. Slowing down gives your mind and body a chance to recharge, so when it's time to get moving again, you actually have something left to give.
What would you do this weekend if you didn't worry about other people's opinons?
